Enjoy this AMAZING video by Valerie Coffey of the Argus Pheasant courtship at Sylvan Heights Waterfowl Park in Scotland Neck. The male does a beautiful feather display while in a bowed position with one foot in front of the other to entice the female. This video is on par with something we'd see on the Discovery Channel or Animal Planet, yet we get to see such natural wonder right here in our own backyard.
