All eyes in Halifax County will turn skyward on Saturday, April16, for the 2^nd annual Roanoke Valley Veterans Center Fly-In. This public event will be held at the new Halifax-Northampton Regional Airport (IXA). The event will serve to educate the public about the area’s newest airport and raise money for the area’s newest attraction, The Roanoke Valley Veterans Museum.

Bring family and friends for a day of “flight-astic” family fun in the spirit of the Wright Brothers. There will be military airplanes, helicopters and vehicles on display, as well as military and aviation vendors. Enjoy seeing radio-controlled, large-scale war birds, skydivers, music and bands, K-9 working dog demonstrations, Rolling Thunder Motorcycles, American Legion Motorcycles, EMS demonstrations, food vendors and more! Meet Boho the clown and see his amazing magic, play on the inflatable slide, obstacle course, and bounce house.Opening ceremonies begin at 9 a.m., gates open at 8a.m. and conclude at 5 p.m. Fun for the whole family!
